Joint school CLD club
Our Aim
Students are the owners of their career and life development. School should engage and facilitate students to be active CLD activity co-creators as well as their own career path creators.
Through joining JSCLD Club, student’s interest and motivation on CLD will be boosted. Moreover, students will base on their own needs, interests and abilities to operate and promote quality youth-led CLD activities with peers.
Meanwhile, every JSCLD Club student will become the “CLD ambassador”, and aims to enhance the CLD knowledge of inside and outside school and evoke the reflection of each sectors on CLD issue.
JSCLD Club HUB Introduction
HUB A Sunflower
Sunflowers have the tendency to reposition itself to face the sun. Our group has similar characteristic that we would always be active and positive to achieve our goal of being good leaders. We would like to be leaders in promoting CLD activities.
HUB B EggTeens
We have 18 members in EggTeens. The pronunciation of eighteen and EggTeens are similar. Also, egg represents embryo and teens represent us. We are a group of teenagers who is waiting to be hatched and exploring our future.
HUB C Gypsophila
Gypsophila is often in a supporting role in a bunch of flowers. We would be as supporting roles in CLD activities as well, helping our schoolmates to have career and life development. Moreover, gypsophila looks like stars. We hope that we could shine like stars in JSCLD Club.
HUB D CoreNet
CoreNet combines by core and connect. A good core connects with different accessories to become a good computer set. We would like to connect with different students to create a network in order to provide information for them to have career and life development.
HUB E Enlighten
Enlighten means illuminate and inspire others and also coincide with Hub “E”. We would like to inspire other students to have career and life development and find their strength. We hope that the light will be passed on to others.
HUB F Voyagers
Voyagers means someone who travels on a long journey by boat. Our career and life development is a long journey. We would like to lead others like a voyager on their career and life development.

Networking skills training
To equip the networking skills of JSCLD Club Ambassador for coming networking activities.
JSCLD Club Ambassador was practicing self-introduction skills to make good impression.
JSCLD Club Ambassador learned interviewing skills through role-play. Ambassadors are reading the character’s information and thinking about questions to ask the character.
JSCLD Club Ambassador discussed about their viewpoint of good self-introduction after practicing.
JSCLD Club Ambassador made a 1 minute self-introduction and observed each other.
JSCLD Club Ambassador played the role of interviewer to empathize empathy the feeling of being interviewed.

JSCLD Club Inauguration Ceremony
The first JSCLD Club Inauguration was held on 30th October, 2021 in Kowloon Tong Innocentre.
Six of the ambassadors were invited to share their learnings in the past activities.
Wing Chung from Hong Kong Sea School shared his learning from the experiential activities. He understood the importance of English communication skills to food and beverage industry and developed perseverance in learning English. Also, he learned to ask precise questions.
Rania from St. Paul’s School (Lam Tin) shared that she learned soft skills in trainings. She could use the skills in organizing activities in school.
Sue from Ju Ching Chu Secondary School (Tuen Mun) shared that the activities increased her skills and knowledge of the industry. Moreover, she learned VASK concept and leadership skills which could be used in school activities. She promoted the career and life development concept in school’s morning assembly as well.

CLD Ambassador Training
Student undertsand their VASK (Values, Attitudes, Skills, Knowledge) and create their own CV360®, so that they can develop the individualized career roadmap for making better choices to plan and manage their own life journey.
