CLAP@JC paired them with an Enterprise Advisor (EA) possessing extensive film and television production experience. A Business-Education Partnership to Promote ESG Education Initiatives

Growing recognition of ESG’s importance in the business sector is driving increased demand for ESG talent, with some industries even experiencing shortages. However, the education sector has limited knowledge about ESG job positions and their prospects. CLAP@JC addressed the gap by organizing an ESG seminar for teachers. The seminar aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of ESG, help them advise students on careers in the field, and support educational initiatives to develop ESG talent.

  • Business leaders, senior/mid-level executives, professionals, or entrepreneurs from diverse industries and backgrounds (both employed, self-employed, or recently retired individuals are welcome)

 

  • Passionate about youth development and career planning, with a desire to positively impact students, teachers, and parents

 

  • Possess strong professional networks and a good understanding of the business world and labour market, and willing to share connections and insights with schools

 

  • Committed to supporting a partner secondary school for two academic years, providing at least 3 hours of support per quarter to help develop and promote career planning programs
