The Road to Entrepreneurship: Challenges and Opportunities for Non-engaged Youth to Uncover their Talents

Globalisation and technological advancement are changing the future landscape of labour market by making knowledge and resources more easily accessible to everyone. Being exposed to the global network, cutting-edge technologies and innovative ideas every day, more people are inspired to take on a less travelled path of becoming an entrepreneur to turn their ideas into reality and create bigger social impact.

Witnessing the growing start-up culture in Hong Kong, CLAP@JC has joined hands with various stakeholders such as business impact consultant and young entrepreneur to organise the Community of Practice session titled “The Road to Entrepreneurship: Challenges and Opportunities for Non-engaged Youth to Uncover their Talents”. This session aims to explore the challenges and opportunities for young people, especially non-engaged youth (NEY) who are at risk of becoming not in employment, education and training (NEET), in the entrepreneurship sector as an alternative to enter the world of work in this knowledge-driven economy.
